Your Staff Professional Development Programme
The annual Learning & Teaching Expo (LTE) is an excellent platform for Hong Kong teachers to keep pace with the global development of education by exploring the latest educational trends, technology and resources.
Riding on its success last year with a record high attendance of 13,505 visitors, LTE 2019 is expanding its scale: more than 350 exhibition booths, together with over 14,000 Asia Pacific educators and school leaders are expected.
At the three-day Expo, there will be over 240 keynote presentations, seminars, workshops and lesson demonstrations hosted by more than 300 educators, scholars and government officials, academics and school leaders from around the world. The topics will include eLearning, STEM and Maker education, 21st Century education development, curriculum policy and leadership roles, inclusive education and early childhood education, etc.
A wide range of education solutions will also be on display by exhibitors worldwide. Trade delegations from Australia, China, Finland, South Korea, Sweden and the UK are expected to introduce their new-to-Asia resources at their country pavilions. The Startup Zone will also return as a launch pad to inspire and connect educators.
Gaining Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Hours
LTE offers up to 24 Continuing Professional Development (CPD) hours to Hong Kong teachers and education practitioners.
Overwhelming Response in 2018
Thanks to the huge support from the education community, more than 200 schools participated in the Expo last year with around 3,000 educators joining the event through Group Registration. A lot of school leaders arranged for the whole school to visit LTE and treated the Expo as their staff professional development programme.
‘Teachers are often busy and sometimes it’s hard for them to learn and further equip themselves outside of school. LTE provides a platform for all my team members to explore education innovations and be inspired eventually. I am looking forward to seeing them bringing new ideas and practices back to school.’

‘The Expo gathers the latest educational resources available in the market. As a early-years educator, I found the Expo very useful for me and my team to explore what we need to improve the education quality in our school conveniently.’
