Learning and Teaching Expo 2021 : Actualising Future Ready Education

The 11th Learning and Teaching Expo (LTE), jointly organised by Hong Kong Education City (EdCity) and Bailey Communications HK, officially opens today at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. With the support of the Education Bureau over the years, LTE is well-supported by educators from Hong Kong, mainland China and Asia. We are delighted to have brought together our biggest ever education Expo with support from the leading companies invested in the future of schooling.

The 3-day event features more than 400 local and international education experts, 270 programmes and 360 exhibition booths which will showcase innovative education resources from Singapore, the UK, the USA and locally developed projects that facilitate teaching professionals to stay tuned for the most up-to-date learning and teaching trends. Educators excel in their professional development by learning from best practices and preparing themselves to grasp future opportunities. There are three brand-new programmes – AI Summit, Greater Bay Area Innovative Education Forum and Education in the Post-pandemic Era seminars to explore a wide spectrum of educational terrains and education reforms driven by new technologies.

In this year, LTE will bring together and to embrace the rapid advancement of education innovation in the post-pandemic, educators to share their experience, insight and to explore the possibilities of future education, especially in the Artificial Intelligence (AI) era, the adoption of knowledge and application of technology for innovating teaching practices to equip students be future-ready with 21st century skills, creativity, character and affection, and well-being, etc.

Expo Programme Highlights

InnoSTEMer will stage over 60 innovative achievement presentations and showcases in which the participating teachers and students bring creative ideas to real life!

Education needs to evolve with time and constant innovation to groom future-ready generations. The Hong Kong Education City (EdCity) established the Innovative Teacher Award in 2020, with the mission to recognise teachers who share EdCity’s vision on effective technology adoptions in education, putting education theories and innovative pedagogies into practice and successful implementation of innovative education.
